Privacy Policy
Draft: this page is a plain-language summary under legal review. The full policy will be published before our first reading sessions.
What we collect about adults
- Your email address, used to sign you in and send booking emails.
- Your first name and whether you're a parent or a volunteer.
- When you agreed to our terms.
- For volunteers: the information needed for identity verification and a background check.
What we collect about children
Only what a parent provides: a nickname, an avatar, a reading level, and a birth year. We also keep a record of reading progress. See Safety & privacy for details.
How we use it
To run Janagram: signing you in, matching readers with coaches, running sessions, keeping everyone safe, and showing parents their child's progress. We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Your choices
Parents can review, change, or delete their child's information at any time. Anyone can ask us to delete their account.
